Regan Drew

An avid wine taster and collector, Regan started in the Tasmanian hospitality industry in his late teens working behind the bar before progressing to the bottleshop. Too many stocktakes later, he started wondering what all that stuff inside the pretty labels, excluding 1998 Seppelt Chalambar which has to be one of the worst labels of all time, was all about. Soon he was tasting and drinking every wine he could find, having been bitten by the wine bug with a tasting of Penfolds 1995 Grange and 1997 RWT Shiraz.

Next came the wine collection and working for several years for an online vintage retailer specialising in rare and unusual drinking - Regan reckons he has seen more Australian Commemorative Ports from the 1970's than almost any other person – lucky boy.

Now located in Sydney and trying to juggle his everyday job Regan still finds plenty of time to search out the best and the worst of Australian and International wines.
